Medak: The Students Islamic Organisation (SIO) Medak is set to organize a historic ‘Jalsa Rahmat-ul-Alameen’ on Tuesday, September 23rd, at Crystal Garden, Arabgalli, Medak. What makes this event unique is that it is being led and organized entirely by the students of Medak, a first-of-its-kind initiative in the district. The Jalsa will begin after Maghrib prayers and is open to families and community members across the region.
The gathering, themed ‘Rahmat-ul-Alameen ﷺ: Mercy to Mankind’, aims to highlight the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) through the voices of young students. The program will feature soulful recitations of the Qur’an (Qirat), Na’at performances and inspiring speeches delivered by students themselves.

The special guest speaker for the evening will be Br. Faraz Ahmed, State President, SIO Telangana, who will address the audience on the relevance of the Prophet’s message for today’s generation and the importance of student-led initiatives in carrying forward the mission of Islam.
Conveners of the Jalsa, explained that the program is designed to nurture leadership, oratory skills, and spiritual understanding among students. They added that by organizing the Jalsa independently, the students of Medak are not only commemorating the life of the Prophet ﷺ but also embodying his teachings of responsibility, unity and service to humanity.

The event is expected to draw large participation from families, especially youth, with the organizers emphasizing an atmosphere of learning and reflection. A dedicated team of student volunteers has been working for weeks to manage logistics, program flow and publicity.
Community leaders have welcomed this initiative, praising the students for taking the lead in organizing a spiritually uplifting program at such a scale for the first time in Medak.
